Leadership in the military has come long before our corporate world has. Military leadership is the process of influencing others to accomplish the mission by providing purpose, direction and motivation. It lets you know the strength, capability and weakness of your subordinates. America and Russia are already incorporating leadership training in the military from several decades. The United States armed forces produces some of the best leaders in the world. Selflessness, knowledge and commitment, these are the critical things that are important not only in the military but also in the corporate world. That is why many big companies now seek officers to train their employees. Colleges seek it to their students. Aana Grace and Billie Beth both invited Russia’s joint military staff to visit their campus and guide the students.
The whole class was ready way before time. When the general arrived he said they would have open conversation. Students asked several questions like what gender thinks about the deployment and disruption.General replied, in the world of armed forces, the nation comes first. By meeting them personally, exchanging small gratitude and simple handshakes can ensure better control and effective message display.
Timely decision making
In the military if you take longer than usual to make a strategy and then to implement it, the enemy will get there before you even blink. Making fast and effective decisions is something that is required when you are standing in the front line in war. When you are 50% sure about your decision and 50% thinking how to act, then just don’t act quickly 9 nor wait for too long for perfection. Same apply for the company’s board room where if you will not make timely decisions you will fall far behind in the competition.

Focus on mission
Commander in military always convey 2 objective to its military force:
1.To complete the mission and
2.Bringing all your members back from the battle field.
After compiling these two targets then self thoughts come. If managers in the boardroom instead of focusing on a company’s goal think about its own good,it is the point when a manager fails. This is not necessary that what is good for the manager is good for the company too. If company’s employees want to leave the company because of less pay scale and even their leaving benefits you still must guide your people so that they don’t make wrong career decisions.

Clear Goal
Military organisation is a national defence policy. A strategic goal is achieved by reaching specific strategy objectives that represent advances within the plan. It is important to follow set goals but making changes when required is also part of strategic intent.
In 1875 the army of Germany reached far east to fight against the confederate army. During the mission the commander told his army if they will not stop the confederate army from crossing the line we will disintegrate. But the commander didn’t tell his army how to do that. Just conveyed the mission goal. During the battle when the Union army was about to get defeated they thought of the intent of the commander and used the tactic that had never been applied practically, just had been studied in theory. They won the battle. It shows how important it is to convey the clear strategic intent.
